Civil Engineering Technology

Are you a problem solver who enjoys working on projects with a positive impact on the community?  As a civil engineering technician, you’ll work with public officials, consultants and others to plan and design buildings, transportation and water supply networks, waste treatment facilities and more.  Demand for civil engineering technicians in the U.S. is expected to grow about 12 percent through 2020 due to the need to maintain and repair an aging infrastructure.

  • A.S. Degree — Gain management and technical skills in many high-demand career fields, with the option to continue toward a Bachelor’s degree at IRSC.
