Why Choose Culinary Arts? — If you enjoy the art of cooking and using your skills to please the taste buds of others, culinary arts may be for you.

Culinary Management - A.S.Degree

What will I Learn? — You will gain practical experience in culinary techniques, knowledge of safety and sanitation, knife skills and cutlery, weights and measurements and basic food preparation, including baking, soups and stocks, meat fabrication, vegetable preparation, banquets and more. In addition to instruction in classic culinary techniques, you will learn about modern cuisine, leadership, management, entrepreneurship, budgeting, purchasing and more. You’ll be prepared for industry certification exams offered through the National Restaurant Association.

Culinary Operations Apprenticeship (Technical Certificate)

What Will I Learn? — You will gain experience in all aspects of meal preparation as you develop understanding of the basic principles of nutrition, dietetics and food and beverage composition. Through a combination of classroom instruction and hands-on cooking, you will learn about the proper use, safety and maintenance of industry equipment.
