Gary Shaver, Ed.D., R.T. (R) (ARRT) — Professor

Gary-Shaver Dr. Gary Shaver received his doctoral degree in Higher Education Leadership from Florida Atlantic University. He was awarded a Master’s degree in Higher Education Administration from West Virginia University and Bachelor of Science degree from Fairmont State College. Dr. Shaver is a graduate of the West Virginia University Hospital School of Radiologic Technology and worked as a radiographer and a CT technologist at West Virginia University Hospital before relocating to Florida. He is a Team Chair / Site Visitor for the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) and he has lead several leadership styles workshops for the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) Leadership Academy for Educators.

Kelly Arnone, DHSc, MS, RT(R)(MR) — Assistant Professor

Kelly-Arnone Professor Arnone is the Clinical Coordinator for the Radiography program in the Radiologic Sciences Department. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Radiologic Sciences with Honors from Florida Hospital College, a Master of Science Degree in Radiologic Sciences with Honors from Thomas Jefferson University, and is a candidate for her Doctorate Degree in Health Sciences. She is a member of both the Alpha Eta Honor Society, and Lambda Nu Honors Society. In addition, she is licensed to practice radiography and magnetic resonance imaging.

Professor Arnone is a 2001 Honors graduate of the Indian River Community College Radiography Program. Upon graduation, she received the Program’s award for outstanding clinical achievement. Following graduation, she practiced in both hospital and private healthcare settings prior to returning to her alma mater in 2008 to assume the role of Clinical Coordinator. She is the sponsor for the Campus Coalition Government, Lambda Nu Honors Society for Radiologic Sciences.
