Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.)

As a Nursing Assistant you will work under the supervision of nursing or medical staff to provide basic care in hospitals, nursing homes, physicians’ offices, clinics and in-home care. Most Nursing Assistants help with nursing activities such as bathing and feeding. The Nursing Assistant course usually takes approximately seven weeks to complete. As a student you will attend class approximately 20 hours per week.

If you would like to become part of the healthcare team that helps provide basic care to patients and would like to work in hospitals, nursing homes, and physicians offices–there is an opportunity for you in nursing.
